个人简介

Peter Hyong S. Koh is a U.S. lawyer who has been a member of the California State Bar since 1989.  He joined Yinghe Law Group in 2015, specializing in Sino-foreign joint venture projects as well as international dispute resolution cases and works in both the Beijing and Shanghai offices. Before  coming to China, Mr. Koh had worked at leading law firms in the U.S., Hong Kong and Korea,  representing large corporate and financial institution clients in structuring, negotiating and  documenting a wide range of M&A, syndicated financing, joint venture, commercial loan and private  equity transactions. As an arbitrator of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board in Seoul, Korea,  Mr. Koh served as the chief arbitrator in two large international arbitration cases. Mr. Koh is also a  part-time lecturer on international business law at the Shanghai University of Finance and  Economics. Mr. Koh is a graduate of Harvard University (BA; 1983) and University of California,  Davis, School of Law (JD; 1989).

01、Representation of Sterling Atlantic, a U.S.-based alternative investment group, in connection  with investments in Hong Kong listed companies; 

02、Establishment of a Sino-Korea JV in Changchun (Changchun TMS Co., Ltd.), representing  a Korean manufacturer of a critical component of OLED displays; 

03、Establishment of a Sino-Korea JV in Shenzhen, representing a Chinese investor in a semiconductor fabless joint venture; 

04、Establishment of a Sino-Korea JV in Suzhou, representing a Korean company in a  semiconductor fabless joint venture; 

05、Establishment of a Sino-US JV in Beijing, representing a Harvard Medical School affiliated  hospital in a rehabilitation hospital joint venture; 

06、Enforcement of a CIETAC arbitral award issued in favor of a Chinese company against a  Tanzanian company in the Tanzanian High Court;

07、International arbitration in Hong Kong, representing a Chinese company, as licensee, in a trademark license dispute with Major Baseball League, as licensor; 

08、International arbitration in London, representing a Chinese building materials company in dispute with a Korean construction company in Saudi Arabia arising out of breach of a  supply contract.
